1. Acceptance
By accessing or using ShortDomains.co.uk you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The platform
ShortDomains.co.uk is a marketplace that facilitates direct contact between domain name sellers and prospective buyers. We are not a broker. We do not take a commission on sales, hold funds, or guarantee transactions. All sales are conducted directly between the buyer and seller unless the escrow feature is explicitly used.
3. Seller responsibilities
- You must own the domain you list. DNS TXT verification is mandatory before any listing goes live.
- You must not list domains you do not have the legal right to sell.
- Listings must not infringe trademarks or third-party intellectual property rights.
- Prices must be stated clearly and honestly.
- You are solely responsible for completing any transfer and communicating with buyers.
4. Buyer responsibilities
- You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before purchasing a domain.
- ShortDomains makes no warranty as to a domain's trademark status, availability, or value.
- Contact form enquiries must be genuine and not used for spam or harassment.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use ShortDomains to list domains associated with fraud, phishing, malware, or any illegal activity. We reserve the right to remove any listing and suspend any account without notice where abuse is suspected.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of listings, or successful transactions. Use the platform at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShortDomains shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to failed transactions, domain disputes, or loss of data.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
